I know this is a topic everyone faces, but really have not seen any discussions on this. So in the spirit of being a well rounded forum, I decided to address this topic here.

  Plastic bags or latex gloves ( the glosves skeeve out the kids)
  
• Who is the designated pooper picker upper? (You, designated spouse, children, third-party vendor)
  my two teen agers (and yes they get send out for poop duty when they act like smart @$$es)
  
• How often do you pick-up poop? (daily, weekly, monthly) What is the weight per volume do you estimate you remove?
  try to do it weekly. Clueless as to weight, by little Molly is impressive on walks so it could be quite a bit.
  
• Do you inspect the poop for proper digestion of food or other reasons?
  only if we think somethin is up
  
• Does your dog only use one specific area or is the whole yard used?
  they like to share the wealth
  
• What technique or methods do you use to prevent lawn damage?
  
  we just try to keep the front lawn nice - have pretty much given up on the back
  
• Do your local ordinances specify specific requirements to dispose of the dog waste?
