thank you doberkim, you've taken something that seems so incredibly complicated and dummed it down for even me to understand :-)
Meat on this island is very expensive and I doubt that I could find a "dealer" to ship to this address even if I could afford the shipping price. I do not have room for a freezer or the weight allowance to ship it when we leave BUT every now and then there are some awesome prices on frozen older cuts of meat at the commissary. Do dogs benefit from eating raw and kibble? And what about goat meat? Just thought of this actually as I was typing, there is a butcher in a farmers market not far from base and I always see goat carcasses hanging around (so yuck) bet I could probably try to work a deal for their organ meat... Could probably get not so fresh fish at a good price too... What do you think?
