I went back and I read through DT the topics posted about male on male aggression. I figured that DobermansRules's comment should not be taken lightly.

The links and discussions were very eye opening. I thought that having one submissive male dog would fix the problem as well as both dogs being neutered, but that doesn't appear to be a guarantee. I still want a doberman, but since I already have a male lab (submissiveness notwithstanding), I am wondering whether this is really a good idea. I thought I had done my research, but I missed some really important stuff here. Ugh.
