From the pictures it would be hard to tell. It is best to have your dog seen by your vet. It could be somthing as little as wounds from playing rough with littermates, from laying on a hard surface or ringworm (which humans and other pets can catch). I'd have your pup checked just as a precaution. He is very cute by the way.
