We noticed recently, that he is losing clumps of fur on his front "shoulders"--The vet said they think it is just his puppy coat (sort of downy fur)
But my husband & I are not convinced. It isn't red or itching him--so it doesn't seem to be infection or allergy. I just dont remember it happening on our older dog, but that was a long time ago.
Just curious what experienced Doberman owners think.
Thank you!

I attached a couple pics.. hope i did that right..
I've heard about these bald spots happening to fawn and blue dobermans, but I haven't heard about it happening with reds...

I'm getting my red girl in about 3 weeks, so I'll be looking to see an answer to this as well. Just in case it ever happens to us!
