HI there~
I'm new to this group--but not to dobies. We have red/rust male--over 13yrs. and just adopted a red/rust male pup. (he's now 3months)
We noticed recently, that he is losing clumps of fur on his front "shoulders"--The vet said they think it is just his puppy coat (sort of downy fur)
But my husband & I are not convinced. It isn't red or itching him--so it doesn't seem to be infection or allergy. I just dont remember it happening on our older dog, but that was a long time ago.
Just curious what experienced Doberman owners think.
