Growing up, my father had numerous Dobermans. I've always loved them, and now that my boyfriend and I are living together (he's new too, his username is Travis
), we're ready for a pet!
After doing a lot of research, we decided on getting a Doberman.
We're getting her on August 23rd. A red female.
I'm SO excited. We bought a bunch of toys and bones on dog.com (such a great site... prices for the bones are so much cheaper than in store!) and everything came today! Her wubba, her kong, her bones, her tennis balls... It was so much fun to go through everything and to think she'll be playing with them in less than a month! It's pretty silly that I'm already running around getting everything for her. Hehe.
Sometimes I put the collar on her leash and drag it around our apartment and give my boyfriend sad faces.
ANYWAYS, I'm just super-excited and wanting to share my joy with all of you. I look forward to meeting new friends and mentors on this site!
I can't wait for my little Athena!
