I have heard that a lot of people have had success with Innova's large breed puppy formula. The "premium" dog food brands will usually not be available at your local Petsmart or Petco. You'll have to go to a specialty food store to get the good stuff. Although I just saw where Petco is starting to sell Wellness products, which is what my dogs are eating.

If you don't have a specialty store close by and you need to resort to something from Petsmart, I would recommend Blue Buffalo. My dogs did well on it, and they have a large breed puppy formula.

But there is no "one size fits all" food. Try something good and see how your dogs do on it. If they don't do well, then gradually switch to something else. It may be touch and go for a while, but you'll find something that works well.
