we fed our dog Canidae all life stages kibble when he was a puppy. He did well on it and like it then. For various reasons, he stopped liking Canidae and we ended up on Purina Pro Plan. Now at 22months old we moving him to Innova adult.

Stick with a good brand - you will pay more for quality. Feed either an all-life-stages type food, or, if you want a 'puppy food' it should be large breed puppy until he passes at least 6 months old. Don't feed one of the high protein, no grain foods like EVO to a puppy - it's too much for their systems and too much calcium and protein.
