| Interesting, I came across the same situation here in Langley last year and the woman couldn't keep the pup due to her not getting along with her old cats (umm, would have been good to see about that BEFORE) She did say she'd like a bit of money but also said it was more important for her to go to a good home and she didn't care about the money part. I like that aspect. As for the 500.00 they paid, can you say BYB? Offer to give a donation to the local shelter because I'll bet some of those dogs end up there! I do hope you get her tho, not fair to be lonely....
