NOTHING replaces a good 1/2" wide, 6 ft. long leather leash. Those nylon leashes may be colorful and cute, but they can cut your hand wide open if the dog takes off and the leash "zips" through your hand. |
Isnt that the truth. i wound up buying a pretty nice nylon leash but it had nice soft covers over a seatbelt hook so that makes walking pretty confy these days but unfortunatly it is a bit large and heavy for a puppy.
My advice is to get your puppy somthing light in a leash. I think a nice light leash makes training a bit easier at first just go cheep till he get a little bigger then buy him his first long term leash. I agree leather is the way to go and they break in nice.
