Sorry to hear this Berkshire. That would be very frustrating It seems you are not alone by any means.

After reading this thread I am even more thankful, my husband is WONDERFUL with the dogs, I mean really really great. On the two days a week I am gone all day until later at night when I get home the dogs have already been let out, played, been walked/ran/or biked, fed, and if they have any issues, like one has a cut toe right now, the sore has been flushed out, cleaned, antibiotic, and taped up, poo in the yard picked up. I never worry when they are with him. And he alternates with me on being home for lunch so the dogs are never alone for too long. He also does great with the reptiles. Right now we are home making another cage for one. When I say we, I mean him Now he will not clean out the litter box, I don't blame him, I don't want to either. It is really nasty and the main reason why we will never have another cat (this is our first and only cat).
I could go on and on about this man as he is a wonderful person all around in so many ways, but I just want to let people know not all guys should be stereotyped when it comes to proper animal care!
