Ha, ha! Sunday is "pretty toes" day at our house too and and most of the dogs come runnig and lay patiently waiting thier turn - not for the actual nails, but for the bag of cookies!  We do 5 dogs or 90 nails as our have their dewclaws still on.
Nails are a pain - especially if they don't like it, but once you get them back, it will be easy to keep them nice and short and you may see a nice improvement in her feet as a bonus.
