| Sometimes I'll save some cooked collard or mustard greens, frozen spinach, boiled cabbage, asparagus, carrots, broccoli etc. and put in with evening kibble. NO beans. The only fruit I think I've tried were mangoes and apples. To try something new i just give a little piece of it when I'm eating it myself to test. I like to use fresh veggies because with canned sometimes there's too much salt, and personally I find canned veggies sort of unappetizing so I rarely have them around (except leseur peas which have lots of salt). Also I try to give in moderation because too much can cause major gas. |
