i used the victoria stillwell approach to jumping up with Bruce. Basically just ask people to turn their back on Max til he stops jumping up. so eventually he should learn that jumping up = being ignored and waiting patiently = attention. bruce learnt this quite quickly as he's such an attention seeker! he has now learnt the best way to get attention is to sit and look longingly into people's eyes, that normally does it! and if not, the secret weapon is placing a slobber covered toy on the person's lap! haha (ok so that's not a good behaviour trait to teach them...)
