I wrapped it (not tightly) over the white tape which is 3M Nexcare Durapore breathable tape (since we don't have Zonas tape around here, this is what I've been using). I was hoping to keep his posts/tape a bit cleaner (and last a bit longer) with the vet wrap, and I also thought the black looks kind of sharp on him, don't ya think?

I don't use the vet wrap all the time though, I don't have enough of it, and it's not all that cheap, so at the moment we're just using the Durapore tape, and we'll save the vetwrap for special occasions and stuff. I wish I had some red vetwrap because today is Canada Day

Tranquility - I can take some more pictures of the crate if you like. It's a Dogit Pet Cargo 800 (by Hagen). I bought this because it has large, easy-to-work-with, quick-release clips that hold the top onto the base (like the Furrari Kennels), rather than bolts or other types of fastners. A couple of other nice features too - the door opens from either side, there is an optional divider for crate training (you can see it behind Thakoon in that first picture), and there are also optional wheels available that are easy to attach and remove. The round thing on the top is a removable storage compartment.

fwiw, we actually used Coban (a little better than vet wrap) to post th ears. We taped the base and used the vet wrap stuff up the rest of the ear, in lieu of tape. Breeder offered this procedure as more breathable than tape. It worked out well.
