| My three year old red dobie was getting these dry patches also. I asked my vet about them and he said they were just calus and would be fine. A couple days later I took my dobie to the dermatologist for another problem and she looked at his elbows, squeezed them and puss cam out. She gave him a month of antibiotic and they were gone. Fur was back and this is from a dobie that lays on concrete. More than likely your dobie just needs some moisturizer on his elbows. |
