| I know that in Georgia the economy has made the horse rescue groups work double time. The average horse owner has had a hard time paying $8- $10 for a bale of Bermuda grass hay. My horse has to eat timothy and alfalfa hay....$14 a bale! That alone has made horses in GA quite a luxury these days. The drought killed off the pastures last summer, so hay is fed year round now.
**I am very surprised that vet would give out your info to just anybody, but good for you for trying to educate the BYB novice somewhat. (Maybe give her a suggestion to get on DT and read about breeding Dobermans.) |
