well, after a week of phone tag, I finally spoke with a woman who got my name from my vet. he's not a breeder vet, so I'll over look what he did, but I did find it strange that someone was trying to reach me about a stud dog. Turns out this woman has a 2 year old bitch who will be in season in august and is looking for a male to use. Didn't like the sound of it at all, so my first question to her was if her dog is registered. No, when I told her there was no one I knew who would let her use their dog with an unregistered bitch she couldn't get off the phone fast enough. Too bad, I didn't get to give my whole speel- I have her # still, might have to follow up- so bugged by these people who want to have a litter b/c their girl is so sweet or family members want a pup or god forbid, they want to make a few bucks!
