I was thinking of maybe bringing one of my Dobes on vacation to Florida this coming November - since it looks like we will be driving instead of flying, and so was researching dog friendly hotels on St. Pete Beach. I found a really nice place right on St. Pete Beach that made a big deal about having a dog friendly section......... even had pictures of someone with a German Shepard there - read the small print and Pits, Dobes and Rotties were not allowed. WTF?? GSD's are allowed but not Dobermans??
I HATE it when places make a big deal about how pet friendly they are and then exclude some breeds or put a weight limit on it. The place on St. Pete Beach also said not over 80 pounds - weird.
