| That doesn't sound good at all. I know that the microchip needle is HUGE. (or it looks huge to me......) I would think a little scab would be normal for a few days, but not a large dirt packed hole. Brownie was done a few weeks ago, and I just kept the area clean, and didn't put any flea stuff on his back for a few weeks, it healed fine. I don't think it was even noticeable. How sad. I would talk to your vet about it.
