| This I copied straight from Cloverdale KOA's website:
A Message From Management
To ensure that all campers have the same positive and memorable experience, we suggest that our guests follow the guidelines outlined below.
PARK PROTOCOL:
1. ALTHOUGH WE LOVE DOGS, WE REGRET THAT WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT DOBERMAN, ROTTWEILER OR PIT BULL BREEDS OR MIXES DUE TO INSURANCE RESTRICTIONS. ALL OTHER BREEDS ARE WELCOME!
2. ALL PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH, MAX OF 6', WITH THE OWNER ON THE OTHER END OF THE LEASH!! PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PETS IMMEDIATELY!!
I read an earlier post that claimed the owner of this KOA stated it was NOT for insurance reasons, but rather a public perception of the breed. I guess based on the findings on their own website, the owners are definately full of CRAP!!!!!!! I will no longer spend my money with a company such as KOA. I realize this will hurt the owners of KOA's that do allow all well behaved dogs but, I would rather not endorse a corporation that allows it's owners to discriminate.
