I will say this about Boxers......I think they are more "accepted" as family pets than dobermans, but I don't think they they need any "less" of an owner than a doberman does. They can be very pig headed and strong willed. I think they just usually wind up in homes who are not prepared for their "boxerness" (LOL) and they are allowed to run wild. (and wild they are)

I totaly agree, right down to the public parks especially off leash. Sorry to hear about your bad day with the terrible owner of a wonderful breed such as boxers..
