Not that I have to give him fish oil, Sabre's coat asn skin were pretty good a little dry maybe but not bad.
Over the years it seems Dobes have trouble on Nutro for some reason. This is the reason I will never feed Nutro, even though one of the Nutro formulas does seem to have better ingredients that the other. They are all made by the same company. Nutro also found in melamine in their foods in did take place in the dog food recall Recently, last year, Nutro was bought out by a huge conglomerate, Mars Inc. who also produces snack foods like many different brands of candy bars, and some the lower quality pet foods brands such is Sheba, Cesar, Whiskers, and Pedigree. That is just more of a reason I will never feed that food.

The issue with higher quality foods is that you feed less, it has higher digestibility, which means less stools and less smells, etc. breath is better, coat is better, weight is better, etc. If you are interested in learning about feeding better foods and like to research here are some links that might be of interest to you.
These books are must reads, and are so popular I have found them at the library
