Skunk smell solution

Quote:
BTW - what's the best way to get skunk off of a dog?
A few years back when my dog that just passed got skunked (he always killed things also), I was desperate to find something that worked to get rid of the smell. We all know that tomato juice does not work. To make a long story short I paid $25. for this formula after reading all the testimonals (even from people who had been skunked). It worked pretty good, better than ANTHING I have ever tried before. So here it is pasted below.

The Formula:
1 U.S. Quart of Hydrogen Peroxide (3%)
1/4 Cup of Baking Soda (Sodium bicarbonate)
1 teaspoon of liquid Dish soap

When mixed together, the solution will
chemically change the properties
of the skunk odor. The soap will help break down
the oils in the skunk essence.
Remember to use this solution while it is still bubbling.
Rinse off with tap water.

Use the formula at your own risk.
Observe all safety precautions and warnings
that would apply to Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.
This solution generates oxygen, so do not seal the mixture
in a closed container as the pressure may cause an explosion.
