Hi all, if you've been following the link about Sasha, we are transporting her for a 6 hour drive on Sunday morning including wait times at the ferry. We have been given Acevet 25mg and have been told to give her 1 pill an hour before we leave. Vet is closed now and so can't call to ask about if we can give her more to make sure she's knocked out. She weighs 55 pounds and she is very anxious even under calm circumstances (ie: our yard) My question, can we double the dose to make sure she's out? We just want to make her journey as least stressful as possible. She's freaked in transport to the point of barking and drooling and barfing in a full out panic. Please help!!
