I hope the $500 was worth it to this guy because I'll bet he's going to lose a lot more than that once word spreads and people learn about how he takes advantage of people. It sounds like he's making the OP feel like it's their fault they put a deposit down on a puppy and he never followed through with any information or communication. Pretty slick, taking people's money for doing nothing, then make them feel like it's their own fault. What a shame.
