When my grandmother died, I had to put my 12-year-old Doberman in a kennel. When that was all over, I picked him up and he was lethargic and never the same. He died 2 weeks later. Watch out with kennels. Just remember they are in it for the money, so be careful. If this ever happens again, my dog is coming with me and I'll bring a kennel and put it in the hotel and put him in there while I am at the funeral. Just my experience.

P.S. Not all kennels are bad, but I had a bad experience.
