our solar stuff is out on the hill in what we call the front=south side.....when we enter the drive we first see the northside.we live 100% off the grid.

I am sure my husband could rig up a solar gate ....he will smile and say ok I will put that on my list ha!....worth a try!

welcome flintpond!.....I would consider that fence if I was only holding a dog....but our horse's do much of the mowing back here. so horse fence is about the best deal we can get. if your fence is not strong enough I recomend a hot tape placed low around the inside edge.......a zot or two will keep the dog off the fence
