I found a great dog training facility right by my house... Wyatt will go through a 6 week private training class on Saturdays starting July 12th and then after that, he and I can go every saturday for advanced group class for free. They really do a great job! They will help him get obedience titles as well... I think he will really enjoy this as I thought he was not very interested in Schutzhund.
The dogs there really seemed like they were having a blast! Wyatt is so smart and people were ooohing and awwwing over him... I really wanted to be a part of his training, and in effect- be trained myself. If someone shows me what to do, i'm pretty good with follow up... but i've never had to train a puppy before... so i'm hoping to learn just as much as Wyatt!
Even with my complete inexperience... i'm pretty proud of how Wyatt has turned out at this point... he is housetrained and just a sweet friendly dog that loves everyone!! Looking forward to helping him use his brain more!! *that is if it doesnt grow so fast it gets squeezed in his pointly little skull and leak out his ears!! hahaha"*
