| Reading through some of the information in the links posted on this forum (in the education section), it appears that "the experts" recommend having two or three dog foods that you and your dog like and rotating them every few months. This way they can get any nutrition they might be missing from one food by way of another food. They say it's not bad to continually switch your dog's food.
I'm trying to find a few dog foods that are high in quality and good for dobermans/large breeds, and rotate them. I'm also planning on supplementing the commercial/dry foods with some natural foods every so often, including meats and other proteins, maybe even some veggies. |
