| I doubt it's the food. Sounds like a typcical staph/bacteria thing - kinda doggy acne. If you get a big breakout, sometimes antibiotics are called for. Puppies/younger dogs might be more susceptible due to weaker immune systems. If bad enough, you might need antibiotics. You might also try a shampoo like Etiderm during the breakout.
