| I don't think Sasha's poor eyesight is the biggest challenge here, it is her anxiety. She is a very bright and loving dog, and has made huge progress in the week that Dobekiss has been fostering her. She completley trusts her foster mom, and is so affectionate and willing to please her...totally wonderful and workable dog!
Our immediate concern right now is finding Sasha another foster situation. If Sasha goes into a kennel, there is little hope for her recovery.
Putting out a call to all B.C. DT members....
If you know a kind, patient, dog savvy person who can take Sasha into their home. She might do well with a large, calm dog who can act as an assistant, but she will need a quite home with no kids or small pets.
There is TONNES of support for this dog, people who are working tirelessly to save her. The rescue, myself, Dobekiss, DLS are all there to assist every step of the way. |
