ADA is their own organization but maintain no registry. Their titles are officially recognized by the DV and the FCI. They hold DV recognized ZTP's in this country and are the only organization who does. They show Euro style and use only Euro judges like Daube, Becht, etc.
You can show an AKC registered dog in any organization. You can show an FCI registered dog too, but only AKC will not credit any wins or titles unless the dog is registered with them.
Hope that helps! | ADA is not recognized by FCI. Only ONE (per country) MULTI-breed club with an offical registry that registers over 2000 dogs a year can be recognized by FCI. So, ADA cannot be part of FCI. BUT it is recognized by IDC.
As for other titles, ONLY AKC champion titles are recognized by the FCI countries... while AKC doesn't recognize any except of their own... kinda sucks.
