LOVE OVERLOAD!!!
I'm mostly a lurker here but I wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped me through a dark time adjusting to my new Doberman after my two Boston terriers passed away. I almost gave my dobe girl (Uma) away but I got some fantastic advice and heartwarming emails.
You all helped me to keep her!!!! I got her at 11 weeks and she's now 13 months old and my life couldn't be better! As a matter of fact I went to a local dog fair and there were rescues there with their adoptive dogs.... Well, my husband and I fell in love with a male doberman, natural eared, 5 year old gorgeous dog. We just had to have him! Uma was with us and she fell in love with him too! They get along fantastically! His name is Roman and he almost didn't make through heartworm treatment while at the rescue organization. He's now heartworm free he used to be 52lbs now he's 82lbs!!!!
We now have 2 of God's most wonderful creatures and my life is whole and complete. I never thought I could love another dog again as much as I loved my Bostons but I was WRONG!
Thanks again for all your help..I wouldn've have either dog if it hadn't been for you guys!
