unmessy, easy-wash kongs??

I know this topic has been discussed and posted (kong fillings, etc), but I really don't like messy kongs. I leave moonshine in the kitchen when I am out and not in his crate, so the mess would be everywhere on the kitchen floor!

I have tried cracking an egg into a kong with kibble, peanut buttering both ends, and frozen, but this is not only terribly messy (egg goo on the soles of your feet, anybody?), it is also difficult to wash (peanut butter get stuck inside kong).

just how do you all wash your kongs? using your fingers and trying to get peanut butter scum out?

what about fillings? I find that the neatest way is to put very little peanut butter on the small end of the kong, put some kibble in it, but the large hole of the kong is too large if you know what I mean, to completely seal with peanut butter.. cream cheese is just as messy.. and, the kibble I use is small, and will pop out easily of the kong
help?!
