| I think it's really important to be careful, as factual as possible, and balanced, when discussing a product like this over the 'net.
That said, I have several licensed vet tech friends whom I consider reliable sources of info.
Recently, this year, one of these techs learned of a case of a HW positive dog, who had absolutely always been on time with the Revolution treatment--and this fact was documented by the vet, since the dog's owner purchased the Revolution from the vet and had the vet apply it there in the office.
This is one single documented case, but the owners are still struggling with getting the makers of Revolution to pay for the dog's treatment, not to mention the heartbreak of having to go through this with their dog.
There is another case in Florida, of HW+ on Revolution, but the proof is not as documented in that case.
Nothing is 100%, but from what I understand, the Heartguard Plus folks and the Interceptor and Sentinel folks stand behind their product completely and will pay for treatment if the dog ends up testing positive.
That, so far, has not been the case with Revolution.
I used it for years successfully, never had a problem, but I now use a different HW preventative.
And--even Revolution makes no claims on tick control. It, frankly, stinks as a tick product.
Look into Advantage Multi, if you want a combo product that vets are really recommending now.
