A cough is NOT the 1st sign of DCM... Its the sign of CHF which is the 2nd stage of Cardio........... Please get your dog in for an Echo and EKG....
I hope its not that ....... But in my experience with this breed there is never a cough that I dont worry about.

(living with a dog with Cardio for 2yrs now)
