People like it when a puppy jumps up on them for attention, it's completely different when he's 100 lbs and does it.
I had to use the "off" and the back turning , I also used a half gallon milk jug with some change in it that worked for a while (until it turned into a new game for him)
his jumping is minimal now, but it took ALOT of work and patience to change the behaviour once it started. |
Yes that drives me crazy..."oh it is ok that he jumped on me" NO ITS NOT! Stop petting him and telling him good boy!" Of course that is all in my head...normally I respond with "yeah, but he will get bigger. I need to correct him, thanks". Sometimes being nice is hard...he he he.
