According to the food reps and Purina vets that I've talked to (i.e. they're getting paid by Purina), all components of ProPlan and the Purina Veterinary Diets are of US origin.

Purina is one of the facilities that I haven't visited, so I can't speak to their specific quality controls. And what I know about it only relates to the veterinary Rx diets. So I don't know about the rest. They'll often discuss it with veterinarians who call, but not always with the general public. I suppose if you're burning with curiosity, you could call the 1-800 number on the bag...
