| I had LOTS of problems with Bo jumping when he was a young puppy, and alot of it had to do with other people fawning over him when he was just a pup.... So be careful of other people making him think that an unwanted behaviour is acceptable too.... it caused me some problems later on....
People like it when a puppy jumps up on them for attention, it's completely different when he's 100 lbs and does it.
I had to use the "off" and the back turning , I also used a half gallon milk jug with some change in it that worked for a while (until it turned into a new game for him)
his jumping is minimal now, but it took ALOT of work and patience to change the behaviour once it started. |
