Well... they (Kimbertal) are a business and they DO want to sell puppies... so I would imagine they would be
very friendly with potential consumers.
It's unfortunate that you feel like you got shunned by show breeders. Chances are reputable show breeders have long waiting lists (for their once or twice a year litters) which eliminates the need to do the same schmoozing/puppy pitching. They can and do cherry pick where their puppies will go. If a novice bugs them for information at a show when they are busy, it might appear that they are unfriendly or unwilling to chat. Unfortunately, this comes across as "attitude" and scares off alot of people.
People who don't want to deal with waiting lists, being screened and "attitudes" will naturally go elsewhere.
