That is a good point. I'm wondering what is making people, or breeders, want to go with such long ears? Was there a top show dog they liked who had them? Are handers saying they make the dog look better in the ring. What started this trend? My opinion is you are adding more hassle to a process that can be difficult for many people to begin with, plus I don't personally like the look of such long ears.
