| I would never forgive myself if Gunner played dobe style on a smaller dog.
Gunner gets along great with other larger breed dogs. Their style of play seems to have a lot of teeth flashing, running, chasing, body checking and on and on. One doberslap with his paws would be the end of a smaller dog. I think the smallest sized dog I feel comfortable with around him is a sheltie. Maybe once he's older and out of the puppy mode I'll be more confident, but only time will tell.
As far as the pit having blood on it's neck, I'd hazard a guess that it was either an accident or she hasn't gotten complete control of her bite inhibition and there's nothing like another dog to tell them when they've gone too far, so I hope the pit told her off.
