I think cropping/docking is a matter best left to be decided by breeders and their vets. It's unfortunate that this is something being legislated in a lot of places, as far as I'm concerned a sad reflection on the times and the mentality becoming the norm.
I just read in an article the other day that doberman registrations in Australia have dropped something like 75%, directly due to the new ban on docking.
I'm sure it's only a matter of time before c/d becomes illegal here in the US. As I've said before, I DID NOT sign on for hanging ears and long tails, most especially those tails. Couldn't handle it.
