I use a Nikon D40X. Even with that camera though, it seemed like all the shots I wanted to get, it would pause.....GRRRR, so frustrating. LOL. Had it been more sunny, it would have done better. It is a GREAT starter camera for the DLRs though, and very easy to use.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone, and the encouragement. I think alot of people probably think I am crazy, but that is okay. LOL.

The main things that she pointed out to me were:

She said he looked a little long right now, and she said his topline looked a little soft (up near the top??). But after looking at his 4, 6, and 8 week pictures (of my horrible stacking) she said he looked square in them and his topline looked good, and that he is probably just going through a funny growth spurt.

She said hopefully his topline will firm up more, and when he gets a little older there are things that I can do to condition him.

When I moved him so she could look at him, she said he was throwing his elbows out just a little. I know what she means by that, but I dont know if that is something that he will grow out of or not. Tori said that Lyn and Helayne said that Cosmo did that as a puppy also, but she doesn't anymore. So hopefully he will grow out of that also???

She liked his front, she LOVED his color. She liked his feet. She said he could use a little more leg, but again, that might just be the stage of growth. She said she would like to see his muzzle a tad longer, but said he had a nice wedge shaped head. She said that the best that we can do is see how he grows, show him and see how he does. Like I said, she was very honest with me, and very helpful.

Brownie was SO relaxed with her and loved her to pieces. I was really surprised. She was sooo patient with him and he was just willing to do anything for her.

Worst case scenario: I get a well socialized puppy who will show his teeth to strangers and stand for examination.

I am not going to get my hopes up, but I will send him with her for a few shows and see how he does. I might find someone up near Maryland to send him out a few times with also. Like I said, I know alot of you are shaking your heads thinking I am crazy.......but it is worth a shot to me.

Edited to add: Here are a couple more photos. These were from inside when we first got there. The shadow was pretty bad, so we moved outside....
