| you can also try an about turn start with a long line , let him get in front of you and then go the opposite way and as soon he is beside you give him treats and a lot of praise ... you might look like an idiot for a couple of days going 20ft one way than 20 ft the other way ... but it usualy work well .. and does lay some basics for the recalls too...
try to start with about 10 ft line then shorten to 8ft then 6 , 4 , 2 and so on ...
