I wish I could help. The only thing I can offer is that is not normal for Dobes to smell. Quentin smells good and he has only had one bath in his life. I wipe him with a wash rag often but that has been it (as soon as it warms up I'm going to give him a good soaking in the tub).
Is your dog have anal glad problems? It can be a very bad smell. Good luck and you may try a second opinion,just in case.
