My last two dobies had some lumps too. We always had them checked at the vet and we were lucky they were always fatty tumors (non cancerous). We did have to have a few of them removed because of thier location. Others we could not have removed for the same reason. I hope Gracie's lump is nothing serious. My vet always told us that if the lump was soft it was better than if it was hard. The testing is pretty simple. They use a needle and take out a few cells and check them out.
