Example....so you don't have to ever measure or weigh. Today you feed two pounds of chicken parts, that is heavy on the bone....so tomorrow you feed more meat....maybe a pot roast....you try and mentally balance over a couple of days, a week, to make sure you aren't feeding too much bone. You can have rear end explosions in the early days...so we tell newbies to start with one meat for several weeks..... just chicken....nothing else not even organ, until your dogs system is used to digesting raw meat. We also don't recommend mixing kibble and raw at the same meal....they both digest at different rates and it isn't good for the dog.
